Best WhatsApp Bulk Message Senders in 2026: 6 Options Compared Honestly
There are three ways to send bulk WhatsApp messages, and the right tool depends on which one you need. We compare six options, with prices from each vendor’s own page and the risks spelled out.

Short version
- There are three ways to send bulk WhatsApp messages: the free broadcast lists in the WhatsApp Business app, a sender tool on your own number, or a WhatsApp Business API platform.
- Broadcast lists are free but small and only reach people who saved your number; API platforms are the safest for large volumes but add Meta’s per-message fees.
- For small businesses that want personalised campaigns plus AI replies at a low price, a tool like NexBotix (our product) sits in between; for large teams, use an API platform.

“Bulk WhatsApp sender” covers very different tools. Some are free features inside WhatsApp, some send from your own number, and some are enterprise platforms on Meta’s official API. Picking the wrong type is the most common, and most expensive, mistake.
This guide explains the three approaches first, then compares six options. Prices come from each vendor’s own page, checked on 14 October 2026. NexBotix is our product; we say where others are the better fit.
What are the three ways to send bulk WhatsApp messages?
1. Broadcast lists in the WhatsApp Business app (free)
The WhatsApp Business app lets you create broadcast lists and send one message to everyone on a list. It costs nothing. The catch: only people who have saved your number receive broadcasts, and each list is limited in size (widely reported as 256 contacts). There is no personalisation, scheduling or automation.
Good for: a small shop messaging regular customers.
2. A sender tool on your own number
These tools connect to your existing WhatsApp number, usually by scanning a QR code like WhatsApp Web, and send personalised messages from a spreadsheet. No Meta approval or per-message fees. The trade-off is risk: your personal or business-app number does the sending, so careless campaigns can get it restricted.
Good for: small businesses with warm customer lists who want personalisation, scheduling and AI replies without API costs.
3. A WhatsApp Business API platform
Platforms built on Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform send approved message templates at scale, with team inboxes, chatbots and integrations. Meta charges per delivered template message (marketing, utility, authentication) since 1 July 2025, at rates that vary by country; replies inside the 24-hour customer service window are free (Meta pricing docs). The platform adds its subscription on top.
Good for: large lists, transactional messages and teams.
How do the six options compare?
| Option | Approach | Published starting price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp Business app broadcasts | Free app feature | Free | Very small lists of saved contacts |
| NexBotix | Own number or Cloud API, with AI | ₹399/mo for 2,500 credits | Small businesses wanting campaigns + AI replies |
| Interakt | Business API | $21/mo (Shopify listing) + message fees | Shopify and D2C stores |
| AiSensy | Business API | Subscription not shown; message credits prepaid | India-focused marketing at volume |
| Gallabox | Business API | ₹2,399/mo billed annually + message fees | Teams needing a shared inbox and AI |
| WATI | Business API | Base price not shown; extra users $24–$69/mo | Established teams with CRM integrations |
1. WhatsApp Business app broadcast lists
The simplest option and completely free. Create a list, add contacts and send. Recipients see the message as a normal one-to-one chat.
- Pros: free, official, no setup.
- Cons: only reaches people who saved your number, small lists, no names, no scheduling, no automation, replies pile up in your phone.
- Choose it if you have a few dozen loyal customers and send occasionally.
2. NexBotix (our product)
NexBotix gives you an AI employee, Nexa, that runs the campaign end to end. Upload contacts from Excel or CSV, write a message with {{name}} and other fields, attach an image or link, and send now or schedule it. Messages go out with a 3 to 5 second gap. Nexa then answers replies with AI using your business details, follows up with people who didn’t reply and hands chats to a person by keyword.
You can send from your existing number via QR code, or connect the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API for larger volumes. Plans start at ₹399 a month for 2,500 credits (1 credit per WhatsApp message, every AI employee included), with a free trial of 100 credits (pricing).
- Pros: lowest paid entry price here, AI replies and follow-ups included, also does leads, email and website chat.
- Cons: not a large multi-agent team inbox; sending from your own number carries more risk than the API.
- Choose it if you’re a small business that wants personalised campaigns and replies handled for you.
3. Interakt
Interakt’s Shopify app listing shows Starter at $21/month, Growth $41, Advanced $51 and Premier $99, each with a 14-day free trial, plus WhatsApp conversation charges. Starter includes API setup, notifications and a shared inbox; chatbots and AI agents come in higher tiers.
- Pros: published prices, strong Shopify fit.
- Cons: automation depth depends on tier; Meta fees on top.
- Choose it if you run a Shopify store.
4. AiSensy
AiSensy’s pricing page offers an Unlimited Users subscription with no cap on monthly active users; the base price wasn’t shown when we checked. Message credits are prepaid, and the page lists Indian rates of ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility or authentication message. A chatbot builder costs ₹2,500/month and an AI agent builder ₹1,350/month.
- Pros: unlimited users, clear Indian message rates.
- Cons: chatbots and AI are paid add-ons.
- Choose it if you send marketing campaigns at volume in India.
5. Gallabox
Gallabox’s pricing page lists Basic at ₹2,399/month billed annually (₹2,999 quarterly) for 3 users, Essential at ₹5,599 for 6 users and Advanced at ₹13,599 for 10, with WhatsApp, Instagram and a web widget in every plan. Message fees are separate.
- Pros: transparent pricing, multichannel inbox, AI agents and CRM integration in higher tiers.
- Cons: a big step up in price between tiers.
- Choose it if your team handles conversations together in a shared inbox.
6. WATI
WATI’s pricing page lists Growth (3 users, 15,000 broadcasts a month), Pro (5 users, unlimited broadcasts, extra users $24/month) and Business (extra users $69/month, Salesforce). Message charges come from prepaid credits based on WATI’s rate card. Base plan prices weren’t shown in a form we could verify.
- Pros: mature platform, strong integrations, scales to large teams.
- Cons: seat costs add up; check base prices directly.
- Choose it if you’re an established team with CRM workflows. Comparing options? See our WATI alternatives guide.
How do you pick the right one?
Answer three questions:
- How big is your list? Under a few hundred warm contacts: broadcasts or a sender on your own number. Thousands, regularly: an API platform.
- Who handles replies? Just you: pick a tool with AI replies. A team: pick a shared inbox.
- What’s your budget including message fees? Price your real monthly volume, including Meta’s per-message charges on API platforms.
